The Department of Accounting offers Accountancy programme to train Bumiputera students in the field of accountancy at a semi-professional level. The lecturers are fully trained; and they specialise in 6 main areas: Financial Accounting, Costing and Management Accounting , Financial Management/Finance , Computerized Accounting , Auditing, and Taxation. Currently, there are 29 lecturers in the Department of Accounting, 265 students pursuing the Degree of Accounting and 607 students pursuing the Diploma in Accountancy.
